Description: Participants will be introduced to the basics of the blendedschools.net package of curriculum, technology, professional development and the educational network. Technical instruction of the basics of the technology platform Blackboard© will be provided including providing instruction, collecting digital assignments and assessments as well as communicating and collaborating with both onsite and online learners.

Instructing Online Students Using Blackboard© and the blendedschools.net curriculum.

Length: 2 days
Description: Participants will be introduced to the basics of the blendedschools.net package of curriculum, technology, professional development and the educational network. Technical instruction will include the tools required to gain access to and modify the blendedschools.net curriculum set as well as the tools and methods uses to assess, monitor, communicate and collaborate with online learners.

Length: 1 day
Audience: Current Blackboard© Users
Description: Particpants will go beyond basic Blackboard© usage and modify their existing content to create more engaging, individualized curriculum sequences using adaptive release and Wimba© Voice. Particpants will also gain knowledge of additional collaboration tools including Wikis and live online instructional evironments.

Creating Reusable Content and Portfolios
Length: 1 day
Audience: Current Blackboard© Users
Description: Participants will learn how to make their instructional content reusable across multiple courses as well as provide critical thinking activities for their students through portfolio creation.
